Locally-Owned & Operated
J.C. Communications is locally-owned and operated by Heather and John Chamberlain. The company started out with a focus on CATV construction. Initially, they secured contracts with Grande Communications and Time Warner Cable to build out a CATV network in the Austin Metropolitan area. At that time, J.C. Communications mainly provided aerial construction services and occasionally some underground construction. Since then, Heather and John expanded J.C. Communications services to include heavy highway underground dry utilities construction, fiber optic and copper cable splicing, testing, and turn up for local and state governmental contracts as well as major long-haul providers and metro carriers.
J.C. Communications is committed to safety and to providing high-quality project completion for all our customers and the communities they serve. All our employees are OSHA 10 certified. J.C. Communications has been certified by local and state government as a Woman Owned Business, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Our office is located at 13425 Wire Road in Leander Texas. Although our contracts are mainly in the Austin and San Antonio Metropolitan areas we have provided and continue to provide our services for customers in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
